Today, Oliver is in integral part of show business. Whether theater, musicals, operas, concerts, revues, circus arts or dance performances – numerous artists trust him for their makeup and hair styling needs. He was and continues to be an important member of the makeup team in Berlin’s Friedrichstadtpalast. He works with the head of makeup and the makeup team to design looks for the programs and trailers for their big shows; Philip Treacy , Jean Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler and Christian Lacroix were costume designers for some of these shows. He’s designed the makeup for many successful productions in Berlin such as Cabaret, Frau Luna, La Cage Aux Folles and many solo programs at venues including Wintergarten, Tipi am Kanzleramt and Bar jeder Vernunft.

He regularly works with singers, dancers, solo artists and ensembles who appreciate his professionality, dedication, vision and empathy – including Katharina Thalbach, Desiree Nick, Geschwister Pfister, Maren Kroymann, Sharon Brauner, Georgette Dee, Sophie Berner, Cora Frost, Cindy Sander, Sheila Wolf and Roxy Diamond. Oliver adores the experience of live performance and loves being able to inspire people with his makeup and styling and making a direct contribution to a production’s success.

Whether an editorial, for a cover, book, product or catalog – Oliver is experienced in photo shoots. As a makeup & hair artist, he has been booked time and again for photo shoots for the show advertising posters for Tipi am Kanzleramt, Wintergarten and Bar jeder Vernunft, posters that are sensational in and of themselves and can be seen all around Berlin. Not to mention creative photo shoots for editorials or catalogs, for instance for the brands Planet Sports, Rauch (Happy Day) and Wood Fellas.

Oliver knows how to set the focus of his makeup work specific to the client and appropriate to the theme and/or model. His looks underscore the natural beauty and intensify it when that’s what is called for. He has worked as a makeup artist for Desiree Nick among others and many German media, including the magazines Bild and Bunte.

Whether for cinema, television or online productions – Oliver is experienced working with moving images and the technical requirements on a set. His beauty makeup is classy and precise – and he also has experience with special effects (SFX), including prosthetics. He is constantly updating his work materials, makeup and glue techniques to the newest developments in the industry.

Productions he has worked on include the music video for “UNSPOKEN (Unplugged)” by Ada Morghe (Sony Music Entertainment Germany), on the feature film productions of Adventures of a Mathematician (with Sam Keeley & Joel Basman) and Nightlife (with Elyas M’Barek & Palina Roschinksy) and the television series Verliebt in Berlin (with Alexandra Neldel & Tim Sander). He regularly films with national stars such as Desiree Nick, who he accompanies as her personal makeup artist to the productions of German broadcasters NDR, RTL and PRO7.
